The importance behind updating your address is to avoid missing important mail or packages. You could be charged fees for not paying a bill on time, or miss an invitation to an event, for instance — or perhaps more importantly, leave yourself open to identity theft.

If you are relocating your business, then you have a legal requirement to ensure your business details are kept up-to-date, in many cases you must notify government authorities within 28 days of moving. - By posting a change of registration form
