If you’ve changed jobs, moved, or forgotten to update your details, you might have lost track of your super. Here’s how you can search for it:

  1. Use MyGov: Link your myGov account to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to access your super information. Follow these steps:

– Sign in to myGov and select the Australian Taxation Office.

– Select ‘Super’ from the menu.

– Use the ‘Super Health Check’ tool to find lost super, consolidate accounts, and prevent future losses.

  1. Call the Lost Super Search Line: You can call the ATO’s automated super search line at 13 28 65. Have your tax file number (TFN) ready.
  2. Complete a Paper Form: Download and complete the NAT 2476 form from the ATO website and send it to the Australian Taxation Office.
  3. Contact Your Super Fund: Reach out to your previous super funds to check if they transferred your money to the ATO.
  4. Update Your Contact Details: Ensure your contact details are always current with your super fund to avoid losing track of your super.
